Had fun sweating the Muncy walk prop last night so back to the well here. Bieber does a great job limiting walks and tends to pound the zone and benefits from hitters swinging at pitches in the zone at a lower rate, but Cal swings at pitches in the zone at a very high rate which means it’ll be tougher for him to get a walk against Bieber. Since he’s hitting 2nd I expect him to face Bieber a 3rd time but that’ll be right around when he’s pulled and then face the pen ~twice. His walk rate is -3% lower at home and while he’s always a threat to get intentionally walked Bieber only has one IBB in his entire career.
