An away game vs Carolina is a ridiculously hard matchup for any defensemen. The Canes have not only allowed the fewest shots both this year and last year, but they have been even harder to shoot against if you're an opposing defenseman. Opposing D have only had 76% of their regular shots against Carolina this season, and 75% last season.

Even with Miro Heiskanen out and Harley on the top powerplay unit, his shots and shot attempts have been disappointing. And with Miro expected back for game 1 he takes even more of a back seat. He will play a ton of minutes no doubt, but he will lack those juicy powerplay minutes. And on the season he has been held under this line in 33/70 games.
